Our first retreat in October 2018 was so much fun, we immediately wanted to do it again! And here we are. From Friday 18th October 2019 until Sunday 20th October 2019 we will be gathering once more in Llandaff with some truly fabulous tutors, delicious cake and hopefully good weather like last year! We’ve sold the initial 50 places, but we are running a waiting list for the eventuality that any of our attendees has to cancel.
The weekend will kick off on Friday 18th October at 6pm when we have a meet and greet knit night at Llandaff Rowing Club. There will be a buffet laid on, and much more room for elbows and yarn flicking than we had last year! Then in a similar vein to last year, we will spend the Saturday and Sunday in Insole Court, Llandaff. The rooms were perfect for our workshops, and it was so lovely and sociable in the big hall in the evening.
We have four wonderful tutors bringing eight workshops, each and every one being something that we would love to learn! Included in the price you will have two workshops, and there will be the option of a third class at an additional fee if there is space left. Please see the individual tutor pages for more information.
The tea, coffee and cake will be freely and lavishly available again, just like last year, so you need have no worries about running out of fuel for your crafting! Saturday evening will see us order in food to eat together whilst we get on with the knitting and chatting. We will bring back the really popular bring and take table as well as the brilliant pile of door prizes which will be raffled.
Tickets will be available to the general public from midday on Sunday 3rd February via this website. If there are no places left, you will have the option of filling in the booking form and being placed on our waiting list. Unfortunately people do sometimes have to cancel due to circumstances beyond their control, so it is worth joining the waiting list if you would like to attend and missed the initial ticket allocation.
The price for Cardiff 2019 will be £250. An £85 deposit will be due within 72 hours of the invoices being sent out to secure your place. Invoices will be sent within three days of receiving the application forms. The remaining balance of £165 (£195 if you take a third class) will be due by the end of June 2019 and we will send out invoices earlier in that month.
Full terms and conditions are available at this link. I hope that we have answered all of your questions on this website. If we have missed something, please feel free to send enquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond as quickly as we can.
